Bio

I grew up in the northern woods of Michigan, collecting wild mushrooms with my dad, arranging beautiful bouquets with my mom, and swimming amongst prehistoric lake sturgeon. Now, I reside in the heart of the Sierra-- Yosemite National Park. When I'm not beating the low-elevation heat by fleeing to the higher altitude wilderness, I'm either creating maps, designing stained glass patterns, or perusing the web for new ideas.

Pros
Even coloring throughout

Cons
This photo is fairly accurate of what the glass looks like without a light source behind it. However, when lit from behind, it is much more of a bright, sunny yellow (think: sunflower). Two very different looks with one piece of glass.

Other Thoughts
I know that shopping online for glass is a risky venture and sometimes it just doesn't work out. This glass is a little too vibrant and it unfortunately is not the right color for my piece :o(

Absolutely stunning! I was just out at our local National Wildlife Refuge to catch a glimpse of the Sandhill cranes as they passed through. You capture their essence superbly.
