Bio

"Creativity breeds creativity!" This mantra is true for all forms of using our minds and imaginations to develop, and create fascinating things! My past experiences as a ceramic potter and professional photographer taught me a great deal about light and texture. Glass art allows me to take all of these things to a totally different level. I started glass blowing classes at the College for Creative Studies in their continuing education program. Soon I was introduced to Baron Glassworks in Ypsilanti and that is when the addiction began. In order to bring the fun home, I started making lampwork beads at home. Soon I wanted more so I learned how to fuse glass and incorporated a fusing studio in my basement too. I work in the business world by day, and play & create in my studio as often as I am able to.
