Bio

Gino Lombardo (ginol) is a Massachusetts glass artist specializing in miniature floral arrangements. His floral arrangments, which may include small insects, are made from Murano glass. ginol sculpts the glass into flowers, branches, leaves and insects using a lampworking torch. Each floral arrangment is then encased in crystal clear glass and annealed. Gino has a graduate degree in engineering and is the author of 16 U.S. Patents in engineering and laser surgery. His engineering skills have been valuable in developing the process for creating his miniature flower arrangements.
