Item# 5253
Diamond Bevel uses, January 5, 2009 5 stars
Pros
2x3 diamond bevels are great for suncatchers, boxes, candle holders, and vases. You can create really beautiful suncatchers when you use a variety of diamond belvels.
Cons
I have found no "Cons" to the product
Other Thoughts
Combine a variety of bevels for more interesting shapes and designs when creating 2 and 3 dimensional products.

Stars of interest, January 5, 2009 5 stars
Pros
These smaller size stars complement small beveled squares perfectly when I make all-bevel suncatchers. Customers at craft shows think the pieces look intricate and interesting. Often times I will hear that the suncatchers look like crocheted snowflakes. The prizmatic rainbows really dance in the sunlight.
Cons
The bevel stars are not usually perfectly symetrical, but the way I use them, it adds interest to the finished pieces.
Other Thoughts
Try combining various shapes and sizes of bevels for more interest.

Pros
I have started using different size star bevels in my suncatchers and found that those are the ones that sell faster at craft shows. Customers like the combination of different bevels to create more prizmatic effects.
Cons
The star bevels are not completely symetrical. The curves and points vary on the 4 sides and from bevel to bevel. If you need perfection. You may be a bit disappointed. I think the imperfection adds to the interest of the piece.
Other Thoughts
For impressive, but fast to make suncatchers...use a combination of different sizes and shapes of bevels. Try adding a few dichroic bevels as well.
