Bio

Hi, my name is Laura. When I first meet my husband Jerry he was working with stained glass and making lamp shades and suncatchers. We would give them as gifts until people started saying you should go online or to the art galleries and sell those. We never did because they took too long to make and by the time he finished one, we either kept it for ourselves or gave it away to a relative. He started making glass lampworking beads,glassblowing items and buying more glass books and videos and I started getting interested myself. We have taken a couple of classes, but mostly self taught. We now have all of our glass art in several gallery locations in Washington state and now in Idaho. Its very exciting. We love what we do and we spend most of our time creating new ideas. Jerry likes to work on the torch (lampworking) and I like to do kiln work. Sometimes we combine both together to create a new art piece. Andy is our 15yr old Son and is in 10th grade. He is very talented too and has made some awesome beads on the torch, but prefers to hang out with friends. Thats okay too.
