Cathedral Glassworks's Profile
Bio
My fascination with stained glass artwork began 30 years ago. My enjoyment of working with glass became the focus of a successful home-based business.
Glass, I found, is a medium that satisfies my need for a “hands on” creative experience. I enjoy the technical challenges associated with the joining of glass and metals, in a way that complements, and is complemented by, the multi-hued and multi-textured nature of the glass I select.
Along with the repair and restoration that comes my way, I enjoy translating my own visions, as well as the visions of others, into a tangible reality. Whether bringing new life to older pieces, or creating new ones, I derive nearly as much satisfaction from the work itself and the end result, as I do from the joy it brings to others.
I particularly enjoy creating windows, or panels to hang in windows and, generally speaking, the larger the project, the more I enjoy it. Equally comfortable with both the copper foil and the leading technique, I often use a combination of both in one design.
My stained glass journey has been a kaleidoscope of light, colour, texture, and people, all coming together in the form of a wonderful pursuit which I hope to continue in the years to come.

Hi. Thanks for your positive comments! I appreciate it.
I'm sorry I can't tell you about that glass. It was just a piece that was hanging around for a few years waiting for the perfect window. I did like the way it turned out.
Thanks again.
