Bio

My earliest memories include a love of art, nature, and animals. Drawing and painting are huge in my life, both in my own execution and admiration of others'. As a member of the Broward Shell Club in south Florida, I won many awards in shell art by "painting" with coquina shells, and sold my works at shows. Moving to Jacksonville and joining its Gem & Mineral Society (where I now teach Lampworking)brought me in contact with the new medium. My supportive husband has attended lapidary schools with me. He has also helped me set up my studio and encouraged my obsession and creativity over the last four years.
