Bio

I am Susan Corona, a mosaic artist with a studio located in eastern Connecticut. Since I was a child, art has always had a prominent place in my life, I have always liked the more “hands on” mediums. Twenty some odd years later I started to experiment with this medium and I fell immediately IN LOVE. Creating a mosaic combines some planning with the sketch phase, and is then replaced by the openness in laying out the tile - the process stays new and free as you decide colors, tile shapes, patterns and tile placement. There is something very cathartic in the destruction vs. creative process.
