Bio

We are a two person shop. I do the creating and my wife does everything else. I started doing Stained Glass at the end of 2009 on a whim and have taught myself to work with glass through reading, mistakes and successes. Nature provides an endless supply of subjects for projects so I constantly have ideas for projects. Look around at the completed projects; I hope they will brighten your day just a little.

Other Thoughts
I have used this glass in the past with the colors as pictured but the last order was much more yellow than the past orders. Be warned: Colors may vary.

Spectrum Inferno Pearl Opal

Spectrum Inferno Pearl Opal

Item# S607683
Spectrum inferno, August 21, 2014 3 stars
Pros
I ordered this glass twice. First order was great! Vibrant colors and I could not have been more pleased. Second order was much more subdued. I thought that Delphi had mixed it up with Spectrum Mimosa. But I was told that what I got was in fact inferno. So be warned.
Cons
Colors may not be as vibrant as the picture.
Other Thoughts
The people at Delphi tried their best to correct the second order but I suspect that they had got a large order from Spectrum that was much more subdued than the picture so they were stuck. I was so happy with the first order I was really disappointed with the second order. So if you are considering ordering this glass it might be best to talk with a specialist on how the color is before ordering.
Wissmach Mystic Light Blue with Dark Blue Streaky

Wissmach Mystic Light Blue with Dark Blue Streaky

Item# W707LL
blue on blue, February 4, 2014 5 stars
Pros
This glass is dark blue mixed in with light blue and some areas almost clear. It has great texture and has been great glass for water pieces.
Cons
with the texture it can be hard to cut.
Other Thoughts
the glass is of varying thickness through the sheet so be prepared to deal with this in foiling etc.
Inland DropOn Bit Adapter

Inland DropOn Bit Adapter

Item# 40100
drop on mandrel, October 28, 2013 5 stars
Pros
This is the heart of the whole line of inland drop on bits. it's a great system for changing easily from 1" to 3/4" bits or different grits without any tools. I now use these bits exclusively for my glass grinding needs with a 3/4" or 1" bit.
Cons
Make sure you keep anti-seize on the bit and the mandrel and take the bit off at the end of the day. I had a slight problem when I did not do one or the other.
Other Thoughts
It is a little more initially to buy the bit and the required mandrel, however all the drop on bits use the same mandrel so the ease of use more than makes up for the extra initial price.
Inland 3/4 Drop-On Super Speed Bit

Inland 3/4" Drop-On Super Speed Bit

Item# 40105
3/4" drop on super bit, October 28, 2013 4 stars
Pros
These are the grinder bits I have graduated to. I use these bits exclusively for 1" and 3/4". It's great to be able to change from one size or grit to another is a couple of seconds with no tools. You end up using the right size bit for the task rather than making due because you don't want to take the extra time that changing regular bits take.
Cons
This bit leaves a ragged edge but it great for removing a lot of glass q2uickly.
