quiltygirl comment on Running Around in Circles March 29, 2010 The circles were cut free hand - I do not have a circle cutter :-\ It really wasn't that difficult though. I will try to get some close up photos posted - am having trouble with my camera right now - but will hopefully get it done in the next couple of hours |

quiltygirl comment on Running Around in Circles March 27, 2010 Paula - here are the glasses I used (all from Delphi!) they were all clear textured glass. Everglade (M4055), Chord (SC100C), Polkadot (V1023), Sycamore (M4057), Taffeta (M4058), Glacier, Baroque, and glue chip. I also had several fill in pieces of clears from some years ago project that I used. These pieces are similar to the Clear Sparkle, Konfeta, Coresica, and Double Granite. I also used some 2" square bevels for even more visual interest. There was one other piece I used from Delphit that was a lot thicker than the other glasses - can't remember it's name but it is no longer shown on the website. (I would not recommend that particular piece anyway :-) It was fun to design - I knew I wanted circles that intersected and were of different sizes and also wanted some straight lines - so I took every different size of dinner plates I had and started making circles. Glad you like the the panels! Thanks! |
