Bio

I am curently working exclusively with kiln formed and flameworked glass. I have studied with acclamied fused glass artist and extensive personal study and experimentation. My inspiration comes form patterns in textiles, colors in nature and craftsman style architecture. Each piece is hand cut, pulled or crushed, then layred and fired. The glass is heated to a fluid state,up to 1480 degrees and slowly cooled to become one peice. Each peice will be fired several times to reach the desired design. Some are sandblasted to achieve different effects. All are cold worked and polished to perfection. Because of the wonderful nature of glass each piece will have slight variances in the colors and design. The plates and platters are food safe and hand washing is recommended.
