Bio

Appalachian Art Gallery is comprised Sherri & Jamie Rhodes from Culloden, WV. Tamarack Artist and member of WV Made Organization; Stained Glass Artist and Certified Picture Framer with over 18 years experience. Jamie Rhodes is a Stained Glass Artist, Custom Picture Framer; as well as, a talented Bluegrass/Flatpick Guitarist. Our studio’s stained glass & wood box designs are all hand made, one of a kind works of art. The idea for the wooden box art was born out of necessity. Stained Glass started as a hobby, while Picture Framing was our Profession. Realizing there were really nice quality materials left over from various projects, it seemed such a waste to discard such useful materials; so we recycle & repurpose leftover materials into functional works of art. As a result, the studio produces less waste, creates beautiful & functional artwork and promotes art, culture and ingenuity in West Virginia.
