Bio

I am a full time teacher and artist. I am interested in making sure that children have visual art as a vital and relevant part of their education. In my personal art, I explore all types of mixed media through collage, mosaic and sculpture. Most recently I have been interested in creating pieces that are interactive with the viewer and art that is kinetic. I also draw and paint. I am working on a multi tiled piece I call "Line". It is a line of people, and various strange creatures, standing in a line that could be a grocery store check out or perhaps a movie line. Some of these people are people I know, others are what I remember from standing in lines. In the end, art and creativity bring joy.
