The Tower Wench Gallery's Profile
Bio
I love glass. I became enthralled with stained glass on my first trip to Europe in 1993. Then when we lived in England for three years and visited countless castles and cathedrals, I practically became obsessed with it. I took a class eight years ago to learn the basics and I’ve been hooked ever since.
When I was finally able to start creating glass of my own design, my “studio” was in a fourth floor attic of a century-old building. My first big project was the Scottish Tower. That piece became my logo and “Tower Wench Glassworks” was born.
I have created more than 200 original pieces to date and always have more in the works. I have done several pieces on commission and am always willing to add a new project. The vast majority of my projects are my original designs, but I have a few that have used patterns that I have found on the internet and in books.
