Bio

My sister dragged me - kicking and screaming - to a lampwork bead class. It was a one-day intensive course in Branford and within the first hour, I was hooked. Since then I have taken a few classes - my favorite class was with Cynthia Saari at the Brookfield Craft Center. Additional classes include a borosilicate class with Nancy Tobey, a shaping class with Lauri Copeland, and a metal bead class with Pauline Warg at Metalworks in MA. I was recently featured in a book by Quarry Press called '1000 Jewelry Inspirations.' The most recent class I took was a 2-day intensive that focused on making hand forged, metal beads (sterling, bronze, and copper).
