Pistol-Grip TAP Wheel Supercutter
I bought my first pistol grip cutter five years ago and won't use anything else now. Easy grip and very resposive. don't put oil into it, after a while the handle seems to become greasy. My teacher showed me a very simple technique - four of five sheets of the sydney morning Herald or other newspaper next to your work, a few drops of singer-type sewing machine oil on the page, and run your cutting wheel over it one or two times and the wheel is nicely lubricated, without the mess. for each cut, I simply run my wheel over the newspaper and then score the glass. It works every time. These cutters are simply the best, but don't put oil into them, they do leach oil through the plastic and make them feel 'dirty'. A little oil on the newspaper, run the wheel over once or twice and then score. Happy cutting!
