Bio

I have been a stained glass artist for over 40 years. I also do fusing and glass sculptures. I have traveled the world to get inspiration for some of my windows. I am also a Recreational Therapist working with developmentally disabled seniors and adults and have created a very successful glass / art program at the facility where I work at in Long Beach, CA. I find that teaching brings much satisfaction and makes me more creative. I incorporate in my work my background in music as a violinist and harpist, using music as a creative tool in working with my clients as well as art. Glass painting has opened up a whole new world to me in the art of stained glass. I have been very lucky to study with several glass painting masters and look forward to continuing the study and exploration in glass. www.janaepolish.com
