Bio

I started doing stained class 25 years ago, and have pretty much self taught since then. I have done mosaic too, but fell in love with fusing last year, purchasing a microwave kiln first to see if I'd like it at all. Well, that was it! I've just started working on my glass again after being in an accident and having many, many surgeries and a ton of re-hab. I tried to return to work five times, unsuccessfully!! So, I figure, if I'm up in the middle of the night, I can work on a little glass. A little here, a little there......maybe I can make a go of this again. It used to be, I did the designer showcases, Santas House at the Burr Mansion, etc. People came to me. Once I got into pharma, I worked so many hours, I did it for friends and family. Well, now after the accident, disability doesn't pay much, LOL! Plus, I love it!!! There are so many things I can do and as long as I have a date well in advance, the job can get done. Plus, I have jewelry I have on hand for gifts, etc. so, that's the scoop! I'm doing the best I can!!! And, will keep it up! ?? PS. I took my Etsy profile down and will go another direction. Probably Facebook, as my friends can alert their friends and get discounts, etc....
