Bio

I am inspired by the flowers, plants and creatures that Mother Nature has produced. The variety of colors and shapes found in the natural world fascinates me. Using stained glass, beads, millefiori, and my original photography, I create vibrant colorful mosaics. Mixing all these materials allows me to portray my interpretation of nature. I have been creating art since I have been able to pick up a pencil and draw. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Art. I studied every medium available to me. While I didn’t learn about mosaics in school, I use what I learned in my mosaics. I have self-taught myself the mosaic techniques using books. I have exhibited my mosaics at the Mosaic Arts International exhibit, 1st Thursday’s at the Orlando Museum of Art exhibits and several galleries locally and across the United States. My goal as an artist is to make people smile, laugh and enjoy life.
