Pros
An elegant form that makes for some interesting light play on the plate. Fits in a small kiln, but is big enough to create useful plates, for example for dessert or tapas.		 Cons
None I can think of.

The size is perfect for tealight candle holders if you use 1' kiln posts.		 Cons
The inside diameter is only about 2', which makes it less useful for deeper slumps. I find the width of the ring excessive, I don't really have any use for that when the inner diameter is so small.		 Other Thoughts
Delphi sells another 6' ring mold that has an inner diameter of 3'. I kind of regret that I didn't get that one, although it wouldn't work so well for tea light candle holders.

Nice shape. Good instructions - I thought the firing temperature sounded a bit low, but it worked perfectly.		 Cons
If you have a small kiln (like me), you'll have to fire the base and the lid separately, so if you also have to fire polish (which is likely), this will keep your kiln occupied for four days.

Easy to close and open, easy to change the pendant. Looks good without distracting from the pendant.		 Cons
As others have mentioned, it would be nice if it came in other sizes, too.
