Bio

Graduating from Towson State University (Maryland)in 1979 with a degree in Fine Art, Janet took a stained glass class in 1982 because a friend wanted someone to go with her to one. The friend never pursued glass, but Janet eventually joined an art glass guild,worked at two different studios (over six years)where she also did sandblasting and taught classes. She also did freelance work for her own designs until moving north in 2003. Fast forward to the present and 500 miles away in Clayton NY (on the St. Lawrence River) Janet is still working from her own home studio and teaching at an arts center to which she belongs. Also, after almost 30 years, she finally found classes in traditional stained glass painting to add to her pieces' quality and value.
