I used a torch with soldering attachment and an electrical plug in soldering iron. The torch worked so much better but it was very easy to overheat the solder. The plug in iron didn't heat it up enough. The iron would get stuck then would have to heat up again to get unstuck. Looking into another soldering iron, and more solder. I am a beginner so just trying everything out.
