Bio

I am reinventing myself after a devastating accident that has limited my mobility and forced me to change my whole life. I worked as an attorney certified petroleum landman prior to the accident. I am physically unable to continue that career path as it involves heavy lifting, lots of traveling and climbing stairs - none of which I can now do. Prior to that career I was an art teacher certified to teach k-12. I found solace in my art as I struggle to heal. I have lost everything due to medical bills, the inability to work and lack of response to my claim for disability sent in July and still under consideration. In about 5 weeks I will no longer have a home and will stay with different friends and relatives. I sold my car several months back. But a friend sent me a picture of a stained glass mosaic she purchased and all I think about and do now is teach myself how to do stained glass and mosaics. Literally art has given me peace and most of all hope.
