I choose a "free style" approach in my designs. No patterns , no set designs ... Just get inspiration from sheets of glass for themes, cut and refine each piece, then let the God given creative juices flow. It is exciting to see how each piece comes together and how the grouting stage gives contrast and definition and makes all the details pop. Stained glass is just such a wonderful medium for creating! It makes eyes happy and hands want to reach out and touch!

@MBalakStudios Many thanks! This took long days and quite a few months to create. One can't tell from the pictures, but the grouting steps I did on this piece were a bit extensive. There are 3 different color sections. Also, as I grouted each section, I randomly scraped out areas and reapplied slightly different color hues to give an aged appearance. I have started a round version using the same colors and design concept. Since I made this table, my leaf designs and skills have progressed ... Looking forward to its completion ... Absolutely LOVE stained glass!
