How transparent is Van Gogh glass and Silvercoated glass? Silvercoat sounds like a mirror, but with colored/textured glass and I know nothing about Van Gogh but it seems like a back-coated glass variety. I'd love to use VG in a stained glass project if light permeates the glass.

@DelphiAnswers Thanks for the reply. I read my question and the tone sounded sarcastic but that was not my intention. I was just reading through the questions already posted hoping to learn from others before I actually start my glass project. In response to jessicajean11's question from Friday, April 17, 2009, I have the same question. Is it a matter of cheap solder, a poorly tinned iron tip, or is it just natural for shiny solder to appear cloudy when it sets?

Are these questions ever answered here? From the dates on the questions, I am guessing not.
