K LA RUES, L.L.C. ORIGINAL FINE ART AND GIFTS ARTIST/OWNER: KAY L. BRYAN AUSTIN, TEXAS What is K La Rues Art? I was born an artist, meaning my creative wheels are constantly spinning. A glance at something in my surroundings can potentially send me into a creative frenzy, and that is exactly how K La Rues L.L.C. came to be. Each of my creations carries a piece of my heart, soul, and personality. Most of my techniques are experimental and self taught. I study the work of other artists; as well as travel the world with the intention to get up close and personal to their work, and their interesting lives. I work in a variety of mediums and tend to be fearless when it comes to a challenge. I specialize in mosaics, stained glass, and painted canvas. I enjoy collaborating with a customer to birth a unique K La Rues work of art that holds special meaning for them. The Value: My artwork includes a personal commitment from me to incorporate integrity and durability into every piece. High quality in each area of the process is of utmost importance to me, so all of my work is created with the question in mind, "Will this last?" Style & Specialties: K La Rues art combines a primitive colorful style mixed with a bit of realism. My work has no boundaries, and I successfully integrate it into an array of decors: rustic, eclectic, traditional, and contemporary. Keeping Things Fun: La Rue is my black signature kitty who mysteriously shows up in my "K La Rues Funky Canvas's; he occasionally appears in my other mediums as well. La Rue adds playfulness to my art and is quite a conversation piece among family and friends.
