Bio

Born and raised in southeast Arkansas, Nancy Brown was introduced to stained glass after graduating nursing school. In order to develop her artistic side, Brown enrolled in the local Firehouse Art Center in Pine Bluff, AR, where she was taught the stained glass lead came technique. in 1993, Brown began developing the copper foil technique, preferring the distinctive lines and bold colors that exemplify her work today. Recently Brown has begun exploring mosaics and the versatility of combining ceramics and stained glass.
