Bio

I am a late comer to glass, but fell in love with the medium in 2007 when I made my first beads at an open torch hot jam. Since then I have set up my own studio and continue to learn the medium working with multiple types of glass that will melt, some easily and some only with coercion. With experience in multiple media - wood, clay, fabric - i have always been drawn to find an intersecting space between color, form, texture, and function. I love experimenting to see how glasses interact with each other and with the various levels of heat available either at the torch or in the kiln.
