Bio

My "hobbies" have always taken a back seat to my "real" career and to my family responsibilities. In the last few years I have been able to devote more time to taking classes and improving my skills. I started making jewelry from copper scraps left on the floor by our electrician while our house was being built! From there I continued to learn, improve my skills, and gradually built a metal-smithing studio in my house. I love creating anything that incorporates multiple disciplines so making jewelry with beads and metal is my passion. I have recently expanded my interests to include mosaics. Because I love the results I can achieve by incorporating multiple materials, my designs often include beads and/or metal. My greatest challenge is containing my imagination….my brain continues to create new projects and my hands can't work fast enough!
