Bio

I have a background in art and design and love to experiment and create with glass. I began years ago watching my mother, who was always doing some kind of art project. I worked with clay and made wonderful things on a big old kick wheel. I enjoyed seeing the results after firing. Later I took up china painting on porcelain and continue this art, making tile back splashes and other accessories for the home. I discovered that I have a passion for glass, and began making fused glass jewelry and now larger pieces such as whimsical birds, bowls and plates. I have also worked with stained glass and want to continue on with that as time allows.

Pros
I began fusing glass using a very small Fuseworks microwave kiln making dichroic glass pendants and earrings. I was happy with my results but I wanted to make bigger things! I saved my money and bought the Delphi EZ-Pro 15-6 Kiln. I love it! I have made fused glass and slumped glass and have had no trouble with the kiln. It it easy using the pre-set programs and I like the option of experimenting with your own firing programs. I have had the kiln for 3 years and have not had any trouble with it.

Other Thoughts
The Delphi staff have been very helpful when I called to ask about loading molds in my kiln for slumping. I hope to be able to travel someday to Lansing, Michigan to shop in the Delphi store!
