Bio

I learned the art of Stain Glass over 20 years ago. I find it to be so relaxing of a hobby. When I tell people that they think I'm CRAZY -- they think of glass as a scary thing that could do serious harm if it cut you. They think of the tediousness of cutting and fitting many little pieces together like a jig saw puzzle, except worse because a jig-saw puzzle comes pre-cut and sized; glass does not. They think of a hot soldering iron in excess of 800 degrees and burning them self. Can those things happen, of course they can. But with patience, lessons, practice and years of experience, those scary things hardly ever happen. So the hobby of stained glass is extremely relaxing and fulfilling. It never gets old to view your final completed on a bright sunny day. Every project I take on I choice something bigger and more complicated to challenge my skills and abilities. I donate my completed projects to non-profit organizations to auction off to raise money for their charities.
