ArtbyMay Dichroic Glass Jewelry's Profile
Bio
Hi, I've been making dichroic glass jewelry since I taught at St. Peter's Home for Boys, where the boys did stained glass and learned new processes like fusing and lampworking. My own business grew out of the inevitable budget cuts that closed St. Peter's, but it has slowly become my main source of income. I am happy to say I still have never seen any pieces similar to mine; they are carefully cut to represent real things like Dragonflies and butterflies, and each piece is fused twice, once for establishing the piece and twice to fire polish and anneal. If there is a wire wrap or earring finding it is always sterling silver. Have a look!
