Bio

Nancy Sanders, living in The Netherlands, website: www.nensglaskunst.nl Since 2010 I have fallen under the spell of working with glass and I immersed myself in various techniques (stained glass, Tiffany glass fusing). Through using these techniques interrelated, I succeed more and more in reflecting my individuality in my objects. Making glass objects and the whole creative process is always a special experience that challenges me, tests my patience and always gives me a good mood and energy. My main sources of inspiration are nature, other cultures and the tattoo art. I love the diversity that working with glass largely offers. Besides playing with colour and light, glass offers a huge variation as you can use it in both solid and liquid form. The upcoming period I want to continue to focus on glass fusing in my own kiln, and work on a new collection including bowls, objects and jewellery.
