RJROBBINS GALLERY's Profile
Bio
It is 2013 and I have been making stained glass for over 13 years. I started out making 3 medium panels which were used for transoms in my home. The builder had left openings in three walkways from my kitchen and butler pantry, which I thought needed something. I took a class through the local community college and learned the copper-foil method. Once those were completed, I was hooked. I then moved into brass came, so I could make two sidelights and a transom to match my brass-came front door that we purchased from a manufacturer. Now, 13 years later, I have made over 30 windows, and over 20 of them have been in brass. Other than the 3 copper-foiled transoms we left in our last house, I have all of the rest installed in my current home. My husband installs them for me and makes the wooden frames. When we move from our home, we can easily take them with us. It's a great hobby... I just love it.
