22" Dragonfly Mold and Pattern
This is a wonderfully sturdy mold. It is supplied with a mylar and paper pattern and a guide. The key is patience.This system uses a wax that must be applied to the mold as one of the construction steps and can be a little messy. Once you get past the anxiety of waxing the mold (and releasing the shade) the outcome is rewarding.
My biggest beef isn't with the mold or pattern--its with the lack of availability of the odd sized jewels that are part of the shade.Glass can be substituted, but the outcome isn't as spectacular.
