Pros
These soldering irons are great. I bought the extra tips incase mine burns out (although it has been working fine for 2 years). I want to keep my Hakko iron going as it is a HUGE upgrade from the Wellers I WAS using.

Other Thoughts
The Hakko irons keep up with the solder. No more having to stop soldering to let the iron heat up (like the Wellers). I love my Hakko and wish I'd bought it years ago.

Pros
Great iron. Not too heavy or bulky. Works great with Mika temp controller and gives a much better range of temperature control. Holds the heat evenly (no heat up, cool down, heat up....)
