Great saw for home/hobby use, January 2, 2009 4 stars
Pros
I like the saw for cutting intricate shapes. Saves time and money when you consider the breakage factor when cutting manually sometimes (although you should know how to cut glass by hand and not rely on the saw).
Cons
The shield makes it difficult to see your work. I took my shield off and use safety glasses instead. The parts can be pricey to replace.
Other Thoughts
When cutting from a pattern, the DVD suggests using rubber cement to attach your paper pattern to the glass. This works great and peels off quickly without leaving a residue behind. I just make sure that I have a nice coat over the whole paper pattern piece so it doesn't disintegrate in the water when cutting. Makes seeing where you are cutting easier too if you use a contrasting color paper for your pattern.

Great little slumper for candle plates, January 2, 2009 5 stars
Pros
I have made several little dishes with this mold. It is a very good quality and stands up to many firings.
Cons
None that stand out, but my molds and shelves perform much better after I switched to the bullseye primer.
Other Thoughts
Remember to care for your molds by making sure you store them properly after each use. I have shelving spaced close together so that the molds lay flat without too many stacked on one another and are not stored on edge.

Seems a little pricey for what it is, January 2, 2009 1 stars
Pros
They look nice when you get your glass on because that is what most people are looking at...
Cons
But, the chrome finish is pitted and if you actually use it for a wine bottle stopper, the metal finish peels and flakes off. I gave these as Christmas gifts last year, and was a little embarrassed to find out that the finish had peeled off. I feel like for the money I paid it should have held up better.
Other Thoughts
It would be great to find a stainless steel bottle stopper with the same sort of flat top on it, but I have never found one.
