Pros : Makes an easy, straight up cut in glass. Cutter flows across glass. Wish I had purchased it earlier.
Cons :
Other Thoughts : Be careful setting down cutter, not on glass, it’s very heavy. Good hint to start running line on back with rubber head on if needed.

Pros : I am absolutely ASTOUNDED!! The Cutter’s Mate actually made me cry! I cannot believe how this mechanism scores for the cleanest breaks…very precise, making cuts that are so thin and it breaks as smooth as a baby’s butt.
Cons : Only issue, which, in no way, shape or form a deal breaker for me is when using the arm to break the score the straight bar pops out of my waffle grid. I am sure this is because I am new but like I said, this is one AMAZING little ditty.

Pros : Love how easy this is to make the perfect score that results in clean cuts. No more tired hands or shoulders from the pressure of cutting, plus I can cut sitting down if I do choose to.
Cons :
Other Thoughts : I also purchased the strip pro attachment for making straight cuts, it is amazing no more wavy lines!

  •   Still getting used to it

Pros : I have been doing stained glass for over 30 years. I am self taught and always used a pistol grip cutter. I have some arthritis in my hand though not severe. I am always looking for a new stained glass toy. I decided to give this a try. Can’t say I have the hang of it yet and I felt a little skeptical but it definitely does work. I have always been one that probably puts more pressure on the cutter than necessary so this takes a little getting used to. You use such a light touch that it glides and I’m used to that scoring sound that I don’t really hear. Even so, the glass does break along the score. I’m still working on that and the feeling of control.
Cons : Not really for small pieces.
Other Thoughts : Don’t throw away your hand cutter.

  •   Essential tool

Pros : The articulated arm on a slider gives exceptional range, allowing a single cut 20" long without lifting. The cutter is weighted and provides a uniform weight and easily manageable cutter. This tool quickly replaced all other hand cutters / scorers. It is a "must-have" to prevent wrist fatigue
Cons : The cutter oil feeder is great, but the oil quickly drained out, and the oil reservoir had to be filled with each use
Other Thoughts : it's companion, Circle Pro, is an equally essential tool!

Pros : This is a wonderful product. I have wrist problem and this has keep me from having to give up on cutting. I Highly recommend it.
Cons : No cons
Other Thoughts : I am planning on getting the circle cutter attachment for it next!
