Product Description

Say Goodbye to Hand Fatigue!
Finally, a cutter that practically scores glass by itself! The Cutter's Mate has a foam cushioned, weighted handle that eliminates the strain of grasping a traditional slim cutter. The weighted handle rotates 360º and applies all the pressure you'll need to effortlessly produce a perfect score. It's so easy, you can even score glass while sitting down!

The easy-glide system keeps the cutter head at a constant 90º angle to the glass, practically eliminating bad breaks. The Cutter's Mate can be positioned for right or left handed use. The 16" cutter arm can score a straight line up to 42-1/2" long. Swings out of the way when not in use.

Features the CSG-10 carbide, oil-fed, cutting head, made in America. Also includes rubber feet for use on tabletops. If preferred, you can attach it to a Waffle Grid work surface #5424 (sold separately). Includes a one year manufacturer warranty. Delphi guarantees 100% satisfaction.

  •   Great purchase

Pros : Makes an easy, straight up cut in glass. Cutter flows across glass. Wish I had purchased it earlier.
Cons :
Other Thoughts : Be careful setting down cutter, not on glass, it’s very heavy. Good hint to start running line on back with rubber head on if needed.

Pros : I am absolutely ASTOUNDED!! The Cutter’s Mate actually made me cry! I cannot believe how this mechanism scores for the cleanest breaks…very precise, making cuts that are so thin and it breaks as smooth as a baby’s butt.
Cons : Only issue, which, in no way, shape or form a deal breaker for me is when using the arm to break the score the straight bar pops out of my waffle grid. I am sure this is because I am new but like I said, this is one AMAZING little ditty.

Pros : Love how easy this is to make the perfect score that results in clean cuts. No more tired hands or shoulders from the pressure of cutting, plus I can cut sitting down if I do choose to.
Cons :
Other Thoughts : I also purchased the strip pro attachment for making straight cuts, it is amazing no more wavy lines!

Saws are great for cutting glass, but sometimes, it’s a more precise cut we need for an obscurely-shaped piece. When you want to make circles with glass or cut out unusual shapes for your stained glass project, what should you use? Many glass artists loathe cutting circles because it is so difficult to make it just right. Fortunately, you don’t need to scrap any glass project that contains circles anymore because the Silberschnitt Pro Circle Cutter is just what you need. This German-engineered product uses a strong suction cup to hold onto the glass. You’ll need to make sure the glass is stationary on your cutting area so that it doesn’t move. Then you can set the Silberschnitt Pro Circle Cutter to the width of your desires. To make that perfect circle, you’ll need to apply continuous pressure as you cut. The 6-wheel cutting turret is designed to make flawless

I got interested in stained glass by admiring the work of my wifes uncle this past Thanksgiving Holiday and am taking a class after the first of the year. I am at a crossroads however as my wifes uncle prefers the pen type cutter and my instructor prefers the "pistol grip" type cutter. My instructor states that better control is achieved with the pistol grip versus the pen type. These two opinions come from people who have been working with stained glass for about 12 years. I would like a non biased opinion to help make a decision on purchasing a cutter since I would like to spend enough money to get the best as I believe that a good cutter would make the hobby much more enjoyable. Thanks for your time. Selecting a cutter is a
