  •   Great for cutting straight lines

Pros : I have all the extension for the Cutter's Mate and have found it very effective for cutting straight lines. The extension for freehand curves works relatively well also, but not better than any other handheld cutter that I have. The Circle Cutter has had about 50% accuracy. Sometimes I'll get a decent circle, other times the blade or arm will move just so as to not get a nice result, and this is after following all directions and watching online videos to optimize for performance. Great also for catching some of the small pieces that fly off and keep your workspace cleaner.
Cons : Not all attachments work as well as you would hope for the price.

Pros : I can't say enough about this cutter! I thought my "glass" days were numbered as the use of my hands got worse and worse. This has saved my life glass-wise! It is simple to use, almost effortless and actually more accurate than I was before. I hesitated for a long time before getting it but had reached the point I couldn't cut glass without it. Wish I had taken this step so much sooner than I did! I actually have bought two of them -- one for Michigan and one for winters in Florida. Thanks so much for carrying such a wonderful quality item!
Cons : The only con that I have is that I have to be sure to clean the oil off of the glass really well before I fuse it in the kiln.

Pros : Great for cutting freehand designs. Cuts ANY kind of glass!
Cons : I have experienced difficulties with the circle cutter - even after watching the Delphi online video multiple times. Consumes a lot of workbench surface.
Other Thoughts : Buy the speed balls too. Make sure you have a level surface to place it on.

Pros : Cutting even the toughest glass is a piece of cake with the Cutters Mate! I use this tool to cut all of my projects. The handle is perfectly weighted so that even the deepest inside curves will usually break without a problem. I suffer with arthritis in my hands, and this tool has given new life to my stained glass efforts as I no longer suffer hand strain using the cutter. The Circle Pro is absolutely essential if you cut a lot of circles or arches, and the strip cutter is the easiest one I have ever used. All told, this is the best investment I have made for quality tools, and it's even made in the U.S.A.!
