Pros : Love this bit. I’m not great at cutting my glass pieces and this takes the extra glass out without too much work.
Cons : Only con is that I have to use it too much. Need to get better with my cutting.

Pros : QUICK REMOVAL OF SHAPES TOO INTRICATE TO CUT
Cons : CAN SLING SIZABLE SHARDS (WEAR YOUR GLASSES) AND EASILY REMOVE TOO MUCH STOCK WHILE YOU'RE LEARNING THE BIT
Other Thoughts : A LIGHT TOUCH WILL GET YOU SOMETHING SIMILAR O THE FINER BIT BUT SHE STILL CHEWS IT UP PRETTY EASILY

  •   Does exactly what it's supposed to do

Pros : This bit is meant to rip through large pieces of glass. It isn't pretty when it does it and isn't meant to be a finishing bit. This bit holds up very well and grinding is really fast with it. I use it to reshape fused cabochons. Finer bits just won't do it. I highly recommend it for this purpose
Cons : none at all. It does what it's supposed to do.

Pros : this bit makes fast work of grinding larger surfaces or excess glass.
Cons : it is a coarse grinding bit so it needs a second grind with a standard or fine bit. it also chews the edges of dichro worse than a standard bit.
Other Thoughts : this bit is great at removing excess glass- it allows me to avoid using my ring saw to remove excess glass from edges of my fused glass.
