Pros : These are a must have for venting the kiln. The separated fingers provide more dexterity than oven mitts.
Cons : They are a little too big for my hands; I need to put my pinky in the third finger. Also, they are not enough protection for reaching into a hot kiln.

Pros : They are long
Cons : They protect you as much as simple baking mitts. Not what I needed.
Other Thoughts : Do not buy if you want to manipulate hot glass.
