Pros : As a transparent color it keeps its color beautifully on light backgrounds. It stays deep and rich over white.
Cons : It can get a little lost in some of the dark opaque colors.
Other Thoughts : When used as the base of a bead it can be very dark and requires light to be able to pass through for the blue to come out.
