I am about to embark on my very first Tiffany Lampshade. I need some advice. I am considering making the GF16 Worden Waterlily shade. It has approximately 450 pieces in it. Can you tell me if this is a good first shade to try? Rule of thumb for a first lampshade is to find one that contains approximately 400 pieces or less, so this new adventure doesn't become too frustrating. When working on a first lamp, you are learning several new techniques and working on a 3 dimensional plane, which can seem trying at times. Since the Waterlily has 450, you have made a very good choice! Also, it's best to start on a full form instead of a sectional one; so again, good job...and good luck!!
