Origami deep mold

The first time I used this mold, I put in 2 peices of glass that had been fused.The problem was that the peice fell more on one side then the other. I would like the peice to retain it's shape -question could I slump a single peice into the mold ? I'm new to fusing and i've read a few books they suggest to use more the one peice of glass when slumping. I'd appreciate some advise.  Thanks Deb
