Jellyfish and Coral Bowls

Experiment with two fun fusing techniques in this one-day class. Students will create an open pattern design "coral" bowl along with a drip fuse "jellyfish" glass sculpture.  Students will cut glass strips and arrange them into their own designs.  Tips for cutting thin strips will be covered.  Students will also construct and execute a drip fusing.  Discussion will include different ways to accomplish a drip fuse.  Both of these fused glass pieces will be created in class.  Pieces will be fused and available for pick up or shipping at a later date.  Detailed fusing instructions will be covered.
All materials are included.  Some previous fusing experience is required.
