Learn how to mix and pour concrete to make lasting decorations for your yard or garden.
In this live online Zoom class Roy will show you the basics of making a poured concrete and glass stepping stone. Add color to your garden or walkway with one of these charming, durable, glass mosaic stepping stones.
Follow along as he gives you instructions on how to create an 8" stepping stone in this 2 1/2 hour live class presentation. Topics will include basic glass cutting, assembly, mixing and pouring the cement, along with design considerations.
Demonstrations will include glass cutting, fitting and shaping the pieces, working with a pattern, assembly in the durable plastic mold, mixing and pouring cement and cleaning up. Topics will include the proper tools to use, what type of materials are best, and safety practices.
Students will need to register with Zoom prior to class.
Students will be emailed a link to the class a few hours before class time on the day of the class. Students will be allowed to enter the virtual classroom 15 minutes before the class start time.
Students will have access to the class video after class for a limited time.
