Pros : when you put it on you can do a large area and still see where it is. i like that it doesn't run all over your project. the cost is fair also and i have less waste because it stays in place. that makes it more cost effective.

Pros : I bought a radio shack flux paste and it was awful, hard to clean off and was sticky and gunked up the brush. This product was great!! Easy to put on and clean up. Does not require hard scrubbing to remove.

Pros : I use copper came a lot for framing my sun catchers. It's very important that the flux be in the exact spot on the copper, because I don't want solder running all over it. The ruby flux , in its solid form, is the answer to this problem.
Cons : Sometimes I have to pry open the lid. Perhaps a different container could be employed.
Other Thoughts : Ruby flux is very useful for learning not to use too much solder.
