Ruby Paste Flux - 2 oz

Ruby Paste Flux - 2 oz

Stays where you want it, May 21, 2009 5 stars
Pros
I use copper came a lot for framing my sun catchers. It's very important that the flux be in the exact spot on the copper, because I don't want solder running all over it. The ruby flux , in its solid form, is the answer to this problem.
Cons
Sometimes I have to pry open the lid. Perhaps a different container could be employed.
Other Thoughts
Ruby flux is very useful for learning not to use too much solder.

Easy money!, May 21, 2009 5 stars
Pros
I had no idea how easy it is to sell nightlights! And you can design just about anything you can dream up. These night light fixtures are high quality and I've gone through 100 of them without finding a single defect. The glass attaches firmly and easily.
Cons
I wish the clips were sold as part of the fixture. I keep forgetting to order the clips.
Other Thoughts
Clear light bulbs are part of the pack, but experiment with using pink and blue bulbs, obtained from any hardware store.

Perfect Size, May 21, 2009 5 stars
Pros
This seems to be the perfect-sized H came to use with the "Hobby U came" Aside from looking great, this lead is easy on the fingers (I play the harp and can't have sore fingers) and gracefully forms to every curve.
Cons
I can't think of a single con.
Other Thoughts
I appreciate that Delphi sells its lead in coils. This saves a lot of packaging fees and makes it easy to store.

Don't Waste Money on Others!, May 11, 2009 5 stars
Pros
You just can't find another pair of nippers like these. I've had one pair for 18 years and they could be used to cut lead. I've use them for cutting copper, zinc, stainless steel wire; you name it and these babies can cut it. Lately, I've purchased a pair dedicated ONLY for cutting lead but still use my ancient ones for everything else. The wear you'll receive from them is well-worth the money spent.
Cons
This product has no cons.
Other Thoughts
Take care of your tools: always spray them with a lubricant/oxidation inhibitor at the end of each work session.

Top-Notch Notcher, April 18, 2009 5 stars
Pros
Although I don't use Cascade brand zinc, copper, or brass, the notcher is easily adjustable and can be used with most any brand. I make sun catchers in the shapes of crosses and love to wrap them in copper. With the notcher, the corners are so perfect that I don't even need to solder them. It not only saves a ton of time, it makes everything look more professional.
Cons
The base is a little lightweight. It's meant to be attached to a surface, but I wanted mine to remain mobile. So I attached it to a 2x4 board.
Other Thoughts
This is a must-have for anyone who uses the stiffer metals for framing and wants beautiful, perfect results.
Universal Face Shield Support

Universal Face Shield Support

Love this Face Shield, March 30, 2009 5 stars
Pros
This is the most useful face shield support I've ever seen. You can cut the glass to any dimension you wish and the glass won't scratch as easily as acrylic. I purchased a super-sized magnifying glass and am using that as my glass shield. It fit the support perfectly. To get it into focus, I was able to raise the grinder a little by placing it on a board.
Cons
The shield's design allows infinite possibilities for creative ideas. If I could change one thing, perhaps an adjustable support would result in a perfect product. However, it's very easy to just raise the grinder if the support seems too tall.
