  •   Best lead free solder I've tried
By on
Pros : Flows well. It's almost as easy to use as 60/40.
Cons : Expensive for the amount you get.
Other Thoughts : After becoming pregnant, I stopped using lead. I was afraid I wouldn't have the same results with lead-free products, but this plus the Canfield Lead Free Came have produced good results.

  •   Diamond Lead Free
By on
Pros : Shiny, lead free, easy to work with
Cons : Needs wax or clear coat to maintain shine (some as leaded)
Other Thoughts : This is a tin - Bismuth combo. It picks up a little dark oxidation if not coated (much like leaded unwaxed solder).

  •   Lead free solder that's easy to use!
By on
Pros : Easy to use, low melting temp. Seams are neat and smooth.
Cons : Very minor sputtering.
Other Thoughts : I had read horrible reviews of all lead free solder and was convinced that I should stay away. Then I started a piece that I really wanted to keep lead-free so I bought 1/2 a Lb of Canfield Lead Free solder and had no problems! I was shocked! I would definitely recommend it.
